This week RIM posted a video on their YouTube channel pitting the upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook’s web browser against the Apple iPad (running iOS 3.2.2) in a ‘Web fidelity’ battle. This quick video break down shows both tablets running through several test and discusses page load times and ability to support modern web standards such as flash content, Java and HTML 5. This is just one of many comparison videos I expect to see RIM post as the PlayBook nears it’s release date. Overall, the PlayBook browser really shows it’s stuff in this video and I can’t wait to see more QNX software make it’s way on to more of our favorite BlackBerry devices.
