Wordpress for BlackBerry
Here’s a bit of good news for WordPress bloggers on the go. The WordPress for BlackBerry app has been updated to version 1.4.1. This latest update which is defined in the release notes as a ‘bug squashing’ release, fixes several small but annoying issues found in the last version. Check out the fixes below.
- Fixed empty title issue for those blogs with “Site Title” field set to empty value.
- Fixed an issue on the comments screen that doesn’t permit editing of comments with weird characters within URL or e-mail field.
- Introduced a better integration with the VideoPress service and the WordPress.com Space-Upgrade option.
- Added support for blog shortcut icon.
- Minor bug fixing.
If you’ve already been using the WordPress app on your BlackBerry these bug fixes will likely be greatly welcomed. Or If your already a WordPress blogger but new to the WP for BB app or mobile blogging in general, than there is no better time to check out this great free app and take your favorite blogging platform everywhere you go.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!
